Tex World Knitwear Ltd. started its journey in the year 2008 with 4 circular knitting machines and 6 flat-bed knitting machines at Ashulia, Savar. With the help of world-class machinery from Taiwan, Tex World Knitwear Ltd. has gone from strength to strength to establish itself as one of the most trustworthy knitting factories in the area. TWKL has vertically integrated into sewing with 15 lines of Japanese-origin machinery at Dhamrai, Dhaka.

Md. Abdul Hamid Pintu
Chairman
Md. Abdul Hamid Pintu is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30
years of experience in Bangladesh’s Ready Made Garments (RMG)
sector. Beginning his career in 1990, he quickly earned recognition
for his integrity and expertise in apparel sourcing and manufac-
turing. In 2004, he founded KFS Fashion, a Dhaka-based
buying house serving leading clients across Europe and
North America, followed by S and S Enterprise, further
strengthening his footprint in global sourcing.
Swapan Kumar Das
Managing Director
Swapan Kumar Das has been an active figure in the textile industry since 1985,
beginning his career as a financial analyst in a government-funded bank
before transitioning into the RMG sector. Holding an MBA from IBA and a
Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dhaka University, he
combined academic excellence with practical experience to establish several
successful ventures, including Dolphine Fashions Ltd., Knitex Dyeing and
Printing Ltd., and Century Associates Ltd. In 2001, he founded Tex World
Associates Ltd., a techno-economic indenting and consultancy firm that
has since partnered with over 500 factories across Bangladesh, India, and
beyond, solidifying his reputation as a visionary entrepreneur in the
textile fraternity.
